ABOUT ME

I am a nursery teacher in the West Midlands who has been teaching and working in nursery and primary schools for the last 18 years. I have a BA from the University of Roehampton and an MA from the University of Exeter and I believe that the learning journey for teachers never stops. 

I am juggling a teaching career, fitness instructing, and now my YouTube channel 'Little Big Foxes' and this website.

I started my YouTube Channel 'Little Foxes' in response to the COVID-19 crisis as a way for my class to still receive high-quality learning opportunities during this unprecedented period. At the time there were lots of high-quality videos on YouTube for nursery-aged children but I knew that my class would appreciate seeing my face as they were stuck at home, unable to come to school. So I set about dusting off my camera, learning to edit videos using Davinci Resolve and began my YouTube debut in March 2020.

Creative individuals thrive on being able to share their ideas and opinions with others around them. This YouTube channel (Little Big Foxes) has provided such a wonderful outlet to do exactly that. Little Big Foxes is proud to provide you with colourful and engaging videos, made just for you and your little ones.

 

This site brings interesting and relevant content updated weekly with videos, teaching and learning ideas through the 'blog' and eventually topic planning for teachers.
